IATA Airport Slot Coordination: Policy and Regulation aviation training course

The aviation industry faces enormous challenges as a result of insufficient airport infrastructure across the globe. The Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG) help the industry to meet the consumer demand for such infrastructure. This course will provide you with an enhanced understanding of these challenges, the policy that underpins the process and how Regulators have legislated to ensure efficient coordination that meets aviation needs according to the country’s strategy for Air Transport. Exploring the objectives of slot coordination, key regulatory considerations as well as the principles that have been developed to meet demand in a fair, transparent, and neutral way, those attending this course will come away with a better understanding of the components of successful and efficient use of scarce airport capacity through airport slot coordination.
