About the course

5-day (20 hours) LIVE virtual classroom course

IATA xxxxxx aviation training course

Here’s your opportunity to gain the essential knowledge every air‑cargo and ground‑operations professional should have about Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and their role in global air transport. In this instructor‑led course— with hands‑on learning during a warehouse visit—you’ll follow the full ULD journey, from identification and buildup to aircraft loading and final breakdown at destination. Throughout the course, you’ll learn the safety principles and operational best practices that keep air‑cargo operations secure and compliant worldwide. You’ll strengthen your knowledge of ULD regulations, airworthiness requirements, certification obligations, and the quality and risk‑management processes used across the aviation industry. You’ll also learn how to prepare and restrain cargo correctly within a ULD, understand airworthiness limits, and recognize common operational risks. By applying these skills directly during practical ULD handling and buildup exercises, you’ll be able to improve your daily routines, reduce errors, and increase efficiency in any warehouse or cargo environment—whether you work in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia‑Pacific, or the Americas. This course gives you the confidence to support safe, compliant, and high‑quality ULD operations across the global air‑cargo supply chain.
