About the courseThe IATA Dangerous Goods On-the-Job Trainer & Competency Assessor Course is designed to equip aviation professionals with the skills to develop and deliver effective on-the-job training (OJT) programs, perform structured and consistent assessments of learning against defined competencies and required proficiency levels for dangerous goods activities, and ensure safety standards are met. You will learn to identify training needs, facilitate practical sessions, evaluate performance, provide constructive feedback and document outcomes. The course covers Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), competency-based training, assessment techniques and the role of a supervisor as both mentor and assessor, fostering trainee development and improving overall performance.
