Dear IATA Strategic Partner,
I hope you are well and looking forward to all the upcoming activities of the Strategic Partnerships Program!
First, some updates.
With the departure of Willie Walsh, the IATA Board of Directors has appointed Saadia Zahidi to become the next Director General of IATA. She was Managing Director at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and a member of the organization’s Managing Board. In her two decades at the WEF, Ms. Zahidi has worked closely with a diverse set of stakeholders at the highest levels, including businesses, governments, think tanks and academia. She will take on her new duties at IATA on 1 November 2026.
As communicated in my message to all Strategic Partners earlier this month, I am pleased to re-share the updated order form for your ease of reference and remind you that additional benefits are included in a range of areas of involvement. I strongly encourage you to review the area offerings closely and to take advantage of these benefits, which include discounts or passes to the upcoming IATA Events:
I also invite you to consult the complete calendar of meetings, forums, webinars and other Strategic Partnerships Program benefits in the fields of networking, marketing and discounts. These include preferred pricing on IATA publications, which have just been updated for 2027, as well as on IATA Training. On the latter, you can benefit from a 20% reduction on the upcoming course “Aviation Fuel Management Essentials”, which will take place in Singapore (5-7 October 2026).
As always, I invite you to contact the IATA Strategic Partnerships Team for any questions or support you may require at partnership@iata.org.
I look forward to connecting with you in person soon!
Sincerely,
Sebastian TIRADO
